‘He robbed me’ – Logan Paul claims Floyd Mayweather is stopping him from $40m purchase Jake Paul is already enjoying

Logan Paul has claimed Floyd Mayweather prevented him from purchasing a private jet that his brother Jake recently acquired.

Paul’s brother Jake recently forked out millions to buy his own private jet, after earning over $20million for his historic boxing win over Mike Tyson in November.

Paul claims he would buy a private jet like his brother if Mayweather paid him in full

Logan himself had already tread on similar ground, having fought boxing legend Mayweather in June 2021, where he expected to earn a total $20m purse.

Mayweather boasted of earning in excess of $30m from their lucrative bout, but Paul claimed he was left short-changed.

‘The Maverick’ alleges that Mayweather didn’t pay him his entire fight purse, and announced plans to sue him to earn what he believes he is owed.

He even claimed the former five-weight champion owed him around $5m.

Mayweather himself has dismissed the claims insisting that Paul has been paid what he earned from the fight.

But now in his latest YouTube video, Paul alleged he is still owed the money, and believes he’d be able to afford a jet of his own if he was paid in full.

He said: “It’s so sick. My brother bought a f***ing jet. This is what happened when you fought Mike Tyson.

“I fought Floyd Mayweather and he just robbed me. He still owes me, pay me that money and then I can get a jet.

“It motivates me more when [Jake Paul] knocks someone out. I care more for them big entertainment moments than material things.”

Mayweather and Paul’s bout was a huge revenue-spinning event with over one million pay-per-view buys recorded.

But the YouTuber-turned-boxer claims he is yet to see the full reward from their exhibition clash.

Since then, Paul has been critical of Mayweather for his role in the bout, with his brother Jake even claiming he did enough to win the fight.

Nonetheless Paul is still in a good position financially, having signed a lucrative contract to wrestle with WWE.

He also fought in another boxing fight against Dillon Danis in October 2023, which also landed him another big payday.

He has even been linked with a rematch against Mayweather despite their financial disagreement.

But he insists he’d only accept if he trained properly with a full camp, and had more favourable financial terms.

“He asked me twice about a rematch,” Paul said in an interview with Graham Bensinger.

“He was supposed to fight someone on top of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, I was asked to step in.

“I said no. He’s not a person you take a fight on six weeks’ notice with. Not with the goal that I have.

“I already fought Floyd Mayweather. If I did it again, it would be to beat Floyd Mayweather. Which I think is doable, I just need to train proper.

“He was able to get me the first time, I was a kid who was excited about fighting Floyd. Now I don’t give a f***.

“And also, if I fought him again, it wouldn’t be 85-15. It’s 50-50. F*** you bro, I don’t need this s***. You need it way more than I do.”
