Holders Kitara commence title defence away at Young Simba at Round of 64

The round of 64 draw for the 51^st edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup was held at Turaco Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel on Monday, 6^th January 2024.

Musician Bebe Cool was the chief guest and conducted the entire draw flanked by two FUFA Executive Committee members Rogers Mulindwa and Rogers Byamukama.

These were joined by Daniel Kayongo, a marketing executive from Kansai Plascon.

Title holders Kitara commence their defence away to Young Simba.

Last season’s runners up NEC will visit UCU (Mbale) at this stage.

Former winners KCCA, Express, SC Villa, URA, Vipers and BUL have relatively fair fixtures; all on the road.

Napak based 403 Brigade will entertain KCCA, URA will visit Kalongo United in Agago district, Vipers shall be away to Tepa and Express will endure a long visit to face Red Devils from Amolatar district.

Sports Club Villa makes a short visit across town to play Seeta United.

The round of 64 matches will be played between 10^th and 20^th January 2025 at various venues across the country on a knock-out basis.

The winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup qualifies to represent the country at the CAF Confederation Cup.
