Holger Rune had to stop his post-match interview early after his thumping defeat to Jack Draper in the men’s singles final at Indian Wells.
Brit Draper produced a hugely classy performance as he demolished Rune in California with a 6-2 6-2 win in just an hour and eight minutes.

He made a fast start against Rune, breaking him in the opening game, and then doing so again at his next attempt en route to taking the first set.
Draper was then a break up at the first opportunity again in set two as he surged to victory.
The win is Draper’s first ever career win at a Masters 1000 event and he’ll rise to seventh in the world rankings as a result.
Rune, who was 12th seed at the Indian Wells Open, was overcome with emotion after the game as he fought back the tears when reflecting on the support he’s received from his family.
“I have to say thanks to my family back home… sorry,” a tearful Rune said.
“They mean everything to me and… yeah, thank you guys. See you next year.”
