England have named their squad to defend their title at the UEFA U21 Euro Finals in Slovakia this month.

Former Three Lions interim boss Lee Carsley is hoping to mastermind another win for the Young Lions after their success two years ago.

In 2023, a squad brimming with established Premier League talent became the first England side since 1984 to win the U21 Euros.

The Young Lions went the entire tournament without conceding a single goal, thanks to inspired goalkeeper James Trafford.

The Burnley star saved a last-minute penalty to secure a 1-0 win over Spain, after Curtis Jones had diverted Cole Palmer‘s free-kick home.

There are only two players in that squad hoping to retain the title this summer – Charlie Cresswell and Liverpool attacker Harvey Elliott.

However, Liam Delap has been omitted from the 23-man group to prioritise the Club World Cup after completing a move to Chelsea.

England will kick-off their campaign in the group stage against Czechia on Thursday, June 12, a day after the tournament begins.

Carsley’s side then battle Slovenia three days later on Sunday, June 15, before taking on Germany on Wednesday, June 18.

All games will be shown live in the UK on free-to-air Channel Four, who have the rights to screen the entire Under-21 Euros.

England matches will be broadcast on their main channel, with the rest split between 4seven and their official YouTube page.

You can stream every England U21 match this summer on channel4.com via your mobile, computer, and tablet devices.
