Finally, Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will meet this weekend for their long-awaited grudge match.
This fight was meant to happen in 2022 but has been delayed for nearly three years due to Benn’s ban.

Ahead of the initial fight, Benn failed a drugs test and was suspended while an investigation was launched.
Eventually, he was cleared, and this fight with Eubank Jr was re-arranged.
The years haven’t eased any tensions, and if anything, it’s all much worse, especially after Eubank Jr slapped his rival with an egg at the first press conference earlier this year.
The rivalry stems from each fighter’s father, who were top contenders back in the day.
The contests between Nigel and Chris Senior were legendary, and we all hope for similar fireworks this weekend.

Eubank Jr vs Benn: What has been said?
Tony Bellew is anticipating an all-action fight between these two.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “It’s madness. It’s crazy. It’s taken over the country a little bit, and it’s done that because it’s crossed over commercially. It’s huge.
“Every era and every generation buys into it, Jim [White], and that’s what makes it big. The grandmothers in the bingo halls are talking about it.
“God help in fight week because I think the whole country is just gonna be engulfed in it. I think it will be on the front page and back page of every paper.
“And it’s huge because of the legacy and the name that their fathers carried. And they’ve actually took it themselves to another personal level.”

In terms of how he sees the fight going, he said: “I just hope the fight lives up to all expectations, and I think it will. They’re gonna go in there and it’s gonna be no holes barred.
“I just hope these two don’t see each other before the fight.
“If I’m being brutally honest there’s only pride to lose for Conor Benn. I mean for Chris Eubank Jr, he’s got everything to lose.
“If he gets beat or knocked out off a welterweight and he’s a middleweight/super middleweight, then he is going to be in a world of trouble, really is.”
