Luis Enrique’s side, who finally won the European Cup this season, will bid for more silverware in the revamped tournament.
PSG thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 to become continental kings but were defeated by Atleti en route to their Champions League crown.
Angel Correa’s last-gasp goal sealed a 2-1 win for Diego Simeone’s men when these two sides met in the League Phase in November.
Since then, the two teams’ fortunes have completely reversed, with PSG claiming a quadruple while Atletico ended trophyless.
The pair will now look to get their Club World Cup campaigns off to a fast start in what is arguably the tournament’s group-of-death.
The two European giants are drawn alongside reigning Copa Libertadores champions, Botafogo, and MLS giants, Seattle Sounders.

This Group B match will take place on Sunday, June 15.
Channel 5 will show 23 of the 63 matches from the Club World Cup on terrestrial TV in the UK, but this won’t be one of them.
