Terry Bradshaw has had to set the record straight.
The NFL legend and iconic broadcaster’s recent flight to Pittsburgh was delayed due to a jammed boarding door and after being hailed a hero, Bradshaw has had to make a statement on social media.

It was claimed on Friday that the 76-year-old saved the day by intervening when the door to a plane would not budge.
The door was stuck for 30 minutes when it landed in Pittsburgh from Texas before Bradshaw – who was sitting in the front row – is claimed to have forced it open.
However, the former Steelers quarterback told his followers on social media, he had nothing to do with it.
“Just to set the record straight,” the NFL legend wrote in a post shared via Instagram on Friday.
“I did nothing to open the door on the plane! The maintenance crew had it open in 15 [minutes].”
What sparked these claims that Bradshaw was a hero on the plane were accounts from his fellow passengers, who even claimed he got a shoutout from the pilot.
“The pilot announced, and you could kind of hear he was chuckling as he said, that ‘thanks to the strength of one of our passengers, we were finally able to get the door open,’” Selah Holland, who was on Bradshaw’s flight, told KDKA 5.
“I think we all knew he was alluding to Mr. Bradshaw.
“There were a lot of Steelers fans on board, of course, so it was kinda funny because I think people had been making jokes that he should help bust down the door.
“Who would’ve thought this would’ve happened today? I don’t think it was on anyone’s bingo cards.”

Another passenger joked they had to ‘eat their words’ after saying that Bradshaw was too old to help.
“The guy next to me had made the joke that they should have him bust down the door and I was like, “Well maybe he could a few years ago”, so I’m definitely eating my words,’ they said.
Bradshaw was reportedly flying to Pittsburgh for the roast of Mel Blount.
Bradshaw is the Master of Ceremonies for the event, which is also serving as a celebration of the Steelers’ first Super Bowl win.
The ex-quarterback led the Steelers to four Super Bowls during his 10-year stint in Pittsburgh.
Nowadays you can find him working as a member of the Fox Sports broadcast team.
