The 33-year-old-old is particularly fond of Epic Games’ popular battle royale title Fortnite and regularly plays online matches with his fans.

It was in one such game that he was relentlessly berated by an online troll, which prompted Ortega to fly from Los Angeles to North Carolina to exact his revenge.

Explaining the situation in a video uploaded to Instagram, Ortega said: “People ask me ‘Play with me on Fortnite’, cool cool.

“The only problem is you guys keep talking mad ‘you know what’.

“So I have an online homie talking mad smack, the real reason why I flew to North Carolina was because he was talking s***.

“We made a bet, and I said I’ll fly over there and choke you out. And here he is! I showed up!

“I showed up to his damn job and I had to wait for him to finish his job.

“So now, ‘Imma choke your a** out. A bet’s a bet!”

Ortega then choked the fan unconscious, who had a big smile on his face up until he went out.

When his arms went limp Ortega let go immediately and the pair began laughing as he came back around.

“I took a nap man,” said the gamer.

“That felt weird man. Hey, that s*** is kind of fun.”

Ortega captioned the post: “When talking crap on Fortnite turns into a real-life lesson.

For all my gamers out there, remember you never know who you might be playing with, respect to Emi for taking it like a man.
