ICC Challenge League B Tournament
- Singapore 243/9
- Uganda 245/2
- Uganda won by 8 wickets
Uganda’s Cricket Cranes picked up their second win in the second round of the Challenge League B tournament in Hong Kong China defeating Singapore by 8 wickets.
The Cricket Cranes made one change to the team from the side that defeated Bahrain, Bilal Hassun making way for Henry Ssenyondo.
Uganda won the toss and elected to bowl first at the small Kowloon Cricket Club. Singapore got stuck in with an opening stand of 96 until a run-out got rid of Hari Kukureja (38).

Henry Ssenyondo (4/36) made a case for his further inclusion with a great spell with Cosmas Kyewuta (2/51) and Kenneth Waiswa (1/26) picking up the other wickets to restrict Singapore to 243/9 in their 50 overs.
Singapore was set at 96 for no loss but lost another 9 wickets for just 139 runs, a good comeback from Uganda with the ball.

In the chase, Robinson Obuya (25) and Shrideep Mangela (48) combined for 71 for the opening stand until the former fell.
Shrideep Mangela could not reach a well-deserved half-century after letting one through his gate but at 124/2 inside 23 overs Uganda was in a good place.
The in-form Raghav Dhawan (71 not out) and Alpesh Ramjani (67 not out) saw out the rest of the game putting on a partnership of 121 runs to bring a second win for Uganda. Ramjani promoted the order ahead of Kenneth Waiswa and paid back that faith with a well-constructed half-century.

Dhawan picked up another player of the match award but a special mention for Henry Ssenyondo for his four wickets.
Uganda has been able to take care of its business but their next two games will define the second round. Italy and Hong Kong China back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday will be the real test for the team.
