Muay Thai sensation Sinsamut Klinmee insists Tyson Fury is a ‘true heavy hitter’ after sparring with him in Thailand.

The ONE FC lightweight had a chance encounter with Fury when they both visited a gym in Pattaya City.

Fury was in the area training for his upcoming rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 and showed off his kicking skills on social media.

In a video uploaded to his Instagram, Fury could be seen flooring Klinmee with a huge low kick on a kicking pad.

And after that, they exchanged leather in the ring.

“I accidentally met Tyson Fury when I went to learn karate,” Klinmee told ONE FC. “As for Tyson, he came to learn Muay Thai.

“He’s very friendly, funny, and easygoing. That day, we had a little sparring. His punches were really hard.

“I learned how to punch properly according to boxing principles.

“I also taught him how to kick, but not much. I didn’t want to bother him too much during his personal time.”

Fury reduced the power of his shots due to the considerable size difference between the pair – and Klinmee is glad he did.

“Fury is a true heavy hitter,” he added. “That day, he probably only used only 20 per cent of his power.

“If he was serious, I could have died. He’s really good. He’s worthy of being a world champion.”

Fury is preparing for his rematch with Usyk on December 21AFP

When Fury and Usyk square off at the back end of this year, there will be more than just pride at stake.

Usyk’s WBO, WBC and WBA belts are up for grabs, while the winner is expected to land an undisputed clash with whoever emerges victorious from Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois‘ all-British showdown on September 21.

Dubois was upgraded from interim to full world champion in June after Usyk vacated the belt to pursue his rematch with Fury.

‘Triple D’ will defend the red and gold strap for the first time at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night and could spoil HE Turki Alalshikh’s plans to stage Fury vs Joshua next.

The Saudi boxing chief recently informed talkSPORT that he is hoping to stage the fight even if Fury loses to Usyk again.

“For the business, of course, it will be a huge fight if Joshua wins,” he told White and Jordan on Monday morning.

“His third time [winning] a world title and [after] the result of Usyk vs Fury it will be a huge fight.

“But you don’t know about the future. Imagine Tyson after the fight with Usyk wants to retire.

“I will give him the offer, but if he refuses, what can I do?”
