Troy Deeney has expressed a desire to return to management in the future.
The former Watford striker has been out of the dugout since leaving Forest Green in January last year.

Deeney spent a month in charge of the then League Two side after initially joining in a player-coaching role.
However, after serving as David Horseman’s assistant, he was appointed in December 2023 before a month-long tenure.
During his time as boss, Deeney drew three and lost three of his six matches.
He remains ‘desperate’ to have another crack at management, though, after discussing the number of sackings this season.
Deeney told Breakfast: “Yeah, I’m desperate to get back in as well.
“There’s a weird buzz with it all though Jeff (Stelling, the talkSPORT Breakfast host). You work all week to try and give the lads an opportunity to go and do something.
“If you win that’s great but it’s the process every single day of trying to be better and trying to just have that winning competitive edge again.
“It’s never perfect is it? You’re always trying to tweak and change. It’s fantastic.”
So far this season, six Premier League clubs have sacked their manager.
Meanwhile, there have already been 30 sackings across the Championship, League One and League Two.

Having previously coached in the fourth tier, Deeney has no preference when it comes to the level he would make his return.
The 36-year-old added: “Anywhere that would take me at this moment in time.
“But yeah at this moment in time I’m just doing the LMA diploma. The managers have signed that off in the next couple of weeks. Another course that gets you in there again.
“A lot of it for me, Jeff, is managing up. I’ve been told I don’t play well with others so I’m learning to curve that side and understand the business side of football a bit better. But the football stuff we know it’s relatively easy.
“It’s like you going and hosting another show at a different company. It’s going to be little tweaks but you know the nuts and bolts of it.
“So yeah managing others and understanding recruitment but learning a bit more about self as well and this year away from being on the pitch has been perfect.”
Deeney has been without a club since leaving his Forest Green role 14 months ago.
It followed spells at Walsall, Watford and Birmingham during his playing career.
The forward spent the majority of his time with the Hornets between 2010 and 2021.
During that time, he won two promotions to the Premier League, scoring 47 goals in 165 top-flight appearances.
