Birmingham have broken Reading’s 19-year EFL record of most points accumulated in a single season.
The Blues picked up their 33rd League One victory of the campaign to move to 108 points.

It was Ethan Laird that scored the opening goal of the game at Bloomfield Road in the 39th minute.
Alfie May then doubled the visitors’ lead in the 51st minute for his 17th strike this campaign in all competitions.
Birmingham never looked in danger of throwing away their lead, as they held on for a record-breaking three points.
Chris Davies’ side already boasted the League One points record heading into their penultimate game this term.
They had beaten Wolves’ previous record tally of 103 – set 11 years ago – after beating Mansfield 4-0 last weekend.
And they have now beaten the 106 points Reading picked up when they cruised to the Championship title in the 2005/06 season.
Birmingham could extend that tally when they face relegated Cambridge at the Abbey Stadium on Saturday.
