Oleksandr Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas has put rivalry aside to send a classy message to Tyson Fury.

The experienced boxing manager has often been involved in heated exchanges with the Brit over the past couple of years while the two boxers have been at loggerheads.

Paris Fury is normally always by her husband’s side, but could not attend the Usyk fightGetty

This came to a head for the first time in May, when Usyk beat Fury to win the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO heavyweight world titles.

The pair are now set for a rematch on December 21 and met at a press conference to promote this on Wednesday.

While at this media event, Fury made a heartbreaking revelation to reporters as he explained that his wife Paris Fury suffered a miscarriage the day before the first bout.

“She lost [the baby] on the Friday of the fight, which was pretty s****y,” Fury explained.

“It’s not like a small miscarriage at the beginning, you have to physically give birth to a dead child, on your own, while your husband is in a foreign country.

“To go through that on your own isn’t good.

“I could not be there for her, in that moment, and that is tough for me.

“I have been with the woman for longer than I wasn’t with her, so it is hard that I couldn’t be there with her.”

Fury continued: “When she said she couldn’t come over, I knew there was a problem. She said she had high blood pressure.

“Turki Alalshikh offered us a private jet to get around the high blood pressure and said she could bring the doctor with her.

“She said she couldn’t come. I asked her what was up and asked her to tell me, but she wouldn’t. So I knew.

“She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.

“When I got back I got the inevitable confirmation that it was gone, but she had kept it to herself.”

Upon seeing these comments being reported, Klimas took to social media to post his thoughts.

“Sorry to hear about this tragedy, just first time did learn about it,” Klimas said.

“It’s terrible feelings, I had ones same situation with one of my fighters just two days before his fight happened.

“It’s really [a] big family tragedy! Sorry Tyson! Hope God will give you few more in near future.”
