Erin Andrews has opened up about her private health battle.

The FOX Sports veteran NFL sideline reporter has been battling several health issues over recent years, including a pre-skin cancer issue on her upper lip.

During the latest instalment of her Calm Down podcast alongside Charissa Thompson, the 46-year-old revealed she’s had “multiple meltdowns” while she raises her one-year-old son Mack and prioritizes her health.

“It’s really hard, it really is,” she said about balancing her work and professional life.

Andrews has been open about her IVF experiences with husband Jarett Stoll, a former NHL star whom she married in 2017.

“My better half works in the hockey world, and so his season is going on at the same time.

“This was a really, really hard year. I’ll going to get emotional about it. The first year when Mack was a newborn, it was fine.

“It was like smell ya later and I really wasn’t really saying that, but it was like, ‘OK, bye!’

“We worked so hard to have Mack, and it took us forever to have him — and we faced a lot of loss, and he finally came.

“I had this attitude like, ‘I have this career and this is how it’s going to be.’ And then he starts talking and realizing you’re leaving, and it was just really, really hard.

“And then I felt like the time I wasn’t studying, or on calls with players, or on Zooms that I had to be with him and not worrying about my clothing line and the podcast.”

“I would just have multiple meltdowns with Charissa saying, ‘I feel like I’m not giving 100 percent of myself to my son, or my job or my clothing line and I feel like I am barely above water.’,” Andrews added.

“And then your relationships start to suffer.

“I didn’t see any of my girlfriends throughout football season and then I got through it and I had a couple weeks off.

“I’ve said to her, ‘I don’t know,’ excuse me, ‘How the f*** I did that,’ this year because I’m also traveling.”

“And I didn’t do myself any favors with how hard on myself I was, I didn’t,” she added.

“But I’m excited about next year and I’m excited to take what I’ve learned with everything and apply it to this year. I need to go easier on myself and I’ve realized that.

“I was to worried I was wasn’t giving all of myself to both things that I was doing the best I could and everybody’s fine.

Andrew was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016, going on to beat the disease and become an advocate for women’s health issues.

She recently spoke about the pre-skin cancer issue on her lip, saying she “did a cream for five days on it”.

It comes amidst a state of uncertainty for both Thompson and Andrews.

Neither are longer employed by FOX Sports after their contracts ended with the network following the 2024 NFL season.

Their next moves are still unclear, but Andrews hasn’t closed the door on a return to the company she has been working for since 2012, while Thompson is still employed by Amazon’s Thursday Night Football show.

On their Calm Down with Erin and Charissa podcast, they dropped a few clues as to what their futures might entail.

Thompson could also still be re-signed to a new FOX deal, or she may end up landing with another network for the 2025 NFL season.
