Jake Paul is planning to use his lucrative Mike Tyson fight purse to generate even more money for himself.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer and heavyweight legend Tyson are set to meet in one of the most surprising yet huge boxing events of the year in a professional dust-up in front of 80,000 fans in Texas.

Paul and Tyson will meet in a huge-earning spectacle tomorrow night

Despite Tyson now being 58 years old and far from his heavyweight prime, there is still sizeable interest in the clash against his much lesser experienced foe.

Proceedings will unfold in front of over 60,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium in Texas with the fight also available globally on streaming service Netflix.

As a result, it is expected the pair will earn big with Paul claiming he will earn $40million, double that of Tyson who is reportedly set to pocket a total of $20m.

And in a final podcast before stepping into the ring, ‘El Gallo’ has claimed he has already decided what he intends to do with the cash.

When asked about his earnings, he said: “It’s in the region of $10 million to $20million or even up to $40 million.

“That’s a good question, with this money I’m probably going to invest it.

“Maybe I will buy some more property to be honest, but I have everything I need right now.

“When I’m old I want to buy a Super Bowl commercial but not right now, maybe when I’m 45.”

Paul’s latest purse is set to take his career earnings to new highs, having already generated huge revenue from his social media career.

But it is believed he will take his boxing specific earnings to a figure in excess of $100m after his latest money-spinning clash.

Paul insists he will not go crazy, and plans to invest his fight purse

The fight has come into widespread criticism given his opponent, who has been subject to health concerns.

Tyson is far from his best, but has been posting regular training up until fight night to show his fitness and determination to succeed.

Nonetheless, Paul was keen on accepting the deal given the undeniable commercial interest in the clash.

And he believes it is a serious fight, one which he believes shows his progression in the sport.

He said at the final press conference: “I’m blessed to be in the position I am, to be highly criticized.

“That just means I’m doing something right. No one has had a boxing career like mine.

“It’ll be studied and judged, but I’ve risen to the top in four years because I’ve taken risks.

“I was the underdog all the way up until Nate Robinson and that’s something that people don’t remember [and] don’t give any credit to, but I put it on the line against some of the best in the sport every single time.

“That’s why I’m here on Netflix against the biggest name in boxing right now.

“I fear no man. So I want him to be that old savage Mike. He says he’s going to kill me. I’m ready. I want that killer.

“I want the hardest match possible Friday night, and I want there to be no excuses from everyone at home when I knock him out.”
