Mike Tyson’s huge crossover fight with Jake Paul is going to be taking place under a modified rule set.
The 58-year-old heavyweight legend will face the YouTuber, 31 years his junior, in a huge crossover event on November 15.

The fight was originally planned to take place in July, however, the bout was postponed due to medical issues with Tyson.
But a new date was confirmed and it will go ahead as Paul faces ‘Iron Mike’ only four years after starting his boxing career on the undercard of the icon’s clash with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
That draw with Jones Jr. is the only time ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ has laced up his gloves since retiring as a professional in 2005.
‘The Problem Child’ has since gone 11-1 inside the squared circle having knocked out Mike Perry on his original Tyson fight date.
Paul vs Tyson: Fight rules
The bout will be classified as a sanctioned, professional fight by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
The fight will be contested at Tyson’s former heavyweight class.
It will be fought over eight two-minute rounds – despite Paul’s offer to Tyson to increase each round by a minute.
Both Paul and Tyson will sport 14-ounce gloves, rather than the 10oz that pros normally use, adding some more protection to both fighters’ wrists and hands.
As it is a sanctioned fight, each fighter can knock down or knock out their opponent while no headgear will be worn.
The result will also affect their professional boxing records.

Paul vs Tyson: What has been said?
The extra padding in the gloves for this fight means it is less likely that a knockout will occur.
However, iconic boxing referee Richard Steele has warned Paul that Tyson’s power is still going to be incredible.
Steele said: “That’s still a small glove thinking about the power of Mike Tyson.
“I don’t see the guy going that distance with Tyson. Because Tyson, he’s so strong and he’s an ex-champion.
“He knows what he’s doing and for two minutes… he can go all out.”
He added: “Tyson’s still dangerous. He has so much power…
“I just hope he don’t end up getting hurt or hurt the other guy.”
