NFL star Joe Burrow has joined the list of Caitlin Clark admirers.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback gave his impression of the WNBA star in a recent interview and made a promise he’ll now have to keep.

Clark’s rise to worldwide fame began during her iconic NCAA final run in 2023, which ended in a showdown with LSU and fellow big-name Angel Reese.
In 2024, the 23-year-old became the No.1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft and enjoyed a record-breaking campaign.
Winning the Rookie of the Year award, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the Fever, who finished 20-20 and secured third place in the Eastern Conference.
Clark has attracted the attention of other superstar athletes and Burrow has become the latest sportsperson to sing her praises.
The Bengals QB was in New Orleans for the Super Bowl and was asked about the Fever forward.
“Shoutout Caitlin Clark, she’s always fun to watch,” the QB said.
“I think she’s bringing a lot of fans to the WNBA. She’s going to continue to get better. She’s an hour and a half from Cincy, so I’ll have to go and make the trip.”
Burrow is no stranger to enjoying other sports. He was spotted at the Australian Open in January and has also attended UFC events.
Now, it is a trip to Indiana that will await Burrow — and he is not the only NFL star excited to see Clark play,
In December, Clark revealed that Taylor Swift left her note revealing that her and Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Kelce want to attend a Fever game in the near future.

Aahead of Super Bowl LIX, Kelce joined Burrow in praising the 23-year-old, saying, “Oh man, she’s unbelievable.”
“She’s the funnest one to watch right now and one of the best basketball players I’ve ever seen.”
One NFL player who has actually watched Clark take the court is Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs signal-caller praised the former Iowa star for being a role model to his daughters.
“Watching Caitlin play and meeting her… A tremendous athlete and a tremendous role model for my daughter to watch,” Mahomes said on The Drive hosted by Carrington Harrison.
“She shows how women’s sports has really taken off, and she’s kind of been at the forefront of that as far as women’s basketball. Glad she’s a Chiefs fan.”
Clark and the Fever will kick off their season at home against Reese and the Chicago Sky on May 17.
We might spot Burrow there along with a whole host of celebrities on the sidelines for what will be one of the hottest tickets around.
