John Fury will not be in his son’s corner on Saturday night.
Fury Sr worked Tyson Fury‘s corner for his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in May but ‘The Gypsy King’s’ head trainer SugarHill Steward has confirmed that this will not be the case for the upcoming rematch.

Speaking to the DAZN broadcast at the open workouts on Wednesday, Steward disclosed that the corner will consist of ‘just himself, Andy Lee and the cutman’, with no mention of father John.
Fury’s corner for the inaugural encounter, led by Steward and involving assistant Lee, his dad, and a cutman was criticised for being too crowded.
John was singled out by pundits for shouting over Steward, who is supposed to be the main voice.
The latest revelation comes just days after both Lee and Tyson admitted they didn’t know if the head of the Fury family would be up on the apron between rounds.
“I don’t know,” said Tyson when pressed on his father’s involvement this weekend.
“I don’t get involved in all that s**te.
“I just go to the gym, train and fight, get paid, go home. That’s what I have always done.”
Assistant trainer, Lee also said: “Who knows what will happen? I don’t.
“Last time the corner was hectic, especially towards the end of the fight.
“There were three different voices in there, SugarHill, John and me.

“I can understand, from a dad’s point of view, he was trying to protect his son.
“But SugarHill was trying to win the fight.
“I was told Tyson was two rounds down and I had to communicate that to him.”
Fury Sr’s corner skills weren’t the only thing that came under fire last time out.
The inaugural encounter was marred by controversy when John headbutted a member of Team Usyk during a bust-up at a Saudi hotel.
Fury Sr emerged from the heated altercation with a cut on his head and blood trickling down his face while the team member in question, Stanislav Stepchuk, came off with a small nick of his own.
