
FUFA Big League entity Buhimba United Saints Football Club has officially unveiled experienced defender Johny Rubi Mugweri.
The 5.3 feet tall defender joins the Kikuube district based side with a wealth of experience.
The hard working defender has featured for a number of clubs to include; Spartans, Kajjansi United, Mbarara City, Booma and also a player for Tooro Province in the FUFA Drum competition.



Mugweri joins the club’s other signings as John Wesley Kisakye and Ismail Siraji as the other mid-season transfer recruits.
The second round of the FUFA Big League is due to kick off alongside the round of 32 for the Stanbic Uganda Cup where Buhimba United Saints also qualified.
Buhimba United Saints is coached by veteran former Uganda Cranes international Paul “Latest” Nkata.
By the time the first round had ended, Buhimba United Saints had fetched 23 points, 7 shy of the leaders Gaddafi as they are 4th on the log.
The second round will therefore mean a great deal for them as they seek to be within the top three clubs eyeing direct slots to the coveted Uganda Premier League.
