Jon Rahm smashed an iron shot off a spectator’s head at the PGA Championship.
The Spaniard’s wayward approach on the par four 11th went off target and struck a man at full force.

Rahm’s ball was travelling so fast that it ended up on the other side of the green.
Unbelievably, the fan was OK and was seen smiling on live coverage shortly afterwards.
“That dude that just got domed by Rahm needs to shake the PIF down for about $50 million,” joked one fan in reference to Rahm playing on the Saudi-backed LIV Tour.
“Rahm just murdered somebody,” another wrote on X.
Rahm went over to the spectators after his errant shot and shook his victim’s hand before handing him a signed glove.
It won’t be worth $50 million but it will still be a nice souvenir, as well as the inevitable bruise.
“Fair play to Jon Rahm giving a glove and a proper man hug to the lad his ball hit. I got skelped by Doug Ghim and all I got was a handshake from his caddy,” commented a viewer on X.
“An apology, handshake, and a signed glove from Jon Rahm will make up for a good welt,” added another.
Rahm ended up missing a par putt while attempting to save face with an up and down to fall to two-under — five shots off the lead.
He began Saturday six shots back from Jhonattan Vegas but felt good about his game going into the weekend.

“I think I’m in good position,” he said. “Adding to the fact that I feel like I’m getting better, more confident with the swing.
“I made a lot of good swings out there today and gave myself plenty of chances.
“If I can start the first few holes better than I played so far, make a few birdies and get a round going and post something around 3, 4-under, which I don’t feel like it’s something too much to ask. I feel like, believe it or not, it’s doable.”
