KCCA FC poor run in the League continued on Sunday after playing out a goalless against Maroons FC on Sunday in Luzira.

The Kasasiro Boys have had a terrible run in the League, failing to win any of their last six games.

Actually, KCCA FC has only won one of their last eleven League outings, a 2-1 at Wakiso Giants FC on 15th December 2024.

Coach Abdallah Mubiru has been under immense pressure with a section of KCCA FC fans calling for his sacking.

The dismal performance has seen KCCA FC slip away from the title race and currently occupy seventh spot on 25 points, 15 behind joint-leaders NEC FC and Vipers SC.

The lack of efficiency in front of goal has been the biggest undoing for the Lugogo based side with the team struggling to convert chances.

In the other game played on Sunday, UPDF FC stunned SC Villa 2-0 in Bombo.

Daniel Kitara and Brian Kalumba scored a goal in either half to guide the Army side to victory.

SC Villa continue to struggle on the road and only account for one win this season.

The result means SC Villa and UPDF FC are level on points (24) in 8th and 9th position respectively.
