The MTN Monthly tee for the month of October 2024 was successfully held on Saturday, 19th at the lake side Entebbe club.
Over 150 players graced the fair-ways and greens under sunny conditions for the day-long event.
By close of business, Nicholas Kebba, playing off handicap 15 emerged as the best player on the day.
Kebba needed a countback victory with 68 net to triumph with Robert Ejiku returning the same scores as well.

Group top performers:
Richard Oloka (handicap 9) won group A with 69 net, ahead of Joseph Galiwango (handicap 8) with 72 net.
In pool B, Robert Ejiku (handicap 12) amassed 68 net to win ahead of James O’Sullivan (handicap 17) with 70 net.
Group C was won by Raymond Ekwamu (handicap 20) with 69 net, a shot better than Mathias Kalule (handicap 24).
Ladies:
Esther Aganyira, handicap 36 claimed the ladies top prize with 71 net, same score that Rita Akot Apell (handicap 18) got.
The guest winner was Dennis Kawalya (handicap 12) with 71 net, winning on countback.
Charles Kabunga, handicap 22 won the seniors (55 years and above group) with 72 net on countback.
Top performers during the MTN Monthly Tee for October 2024
Sserwano Walusimbi, the captain of Entebbe club applauded all the day’s players and the sponsors led by MTN Uganda, cfao motors and others.
“It was a great day in Entebbe for the October MTN Monthly tee tournament. We had a great number of players, over 150 and the weather was friendly. Action progressed well and I congratulate all the players as we build up to grand tee of tees in December 2024. I thank MTN Uganda our main sponsors and the other partners as cfao motors, among others” Walusimbi remarked.
So far, Pamela Tumusiime is the overall lady in the order of merit with 577 net in top 8 competitions. Jovia Tugume lies second on the leaderboard with 578 points.
Kirarira Twijukye is the male overall leader with 564 points in top 8 events; ahead of Raymond Ekwamu (576 points).
The next monthly tee will happen in November before the grand tee of tees in December where the top performers in the order of merit standing will be rewarded with juicy prizes.
