Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club signs five players in mid-season window

FUFA Big League entity Kigezi Home Boyz football club has signed five players in the secondary transfer window.

Midfielder Michael Kimera Kibi, Allan Egaku (forward), Denis Alioni (defender), Jonathan Tahinduka (midfielder) and Enock Tumwesigye (midfielder) are all new arrivals at the Kabale based club.

“I feel so happy to be at Kigezi HomeBoyz FC. I am eager to compete with my mates to help the club achieve its objectives. I love the fact that when I arrived, I found several familiar faces in the dressing room, and this place simply feels like home. I am thankful to the club board, management, and Head Coach for granting me this opportunity to play for this beautiful club, and I can’t wait to get started.” Egaku revealed as quoted by the club website.

Egaku pens a six-month deal after departing Booma football club who also lost forward John Wesley Kisakye (to Buhimba United Saints) and defender Pascal Irasa (to Kiyinda Boys).

Coached by Scottish born national Stephen Pritchard Kigezi Home Boyz is desperate to make ends meet at the final bend of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League season where they are currently in the relegation docket.

Club forwards Derrick Mudali, Bushira Aniku and Jonathan Kayemba are now boosted coming to the second round of the season.

Meanwhile, Kigezi Home Boyz overcame Mbarara City 1-0 during a friendly match played in Kabale on Saturday, 1st February 2025.
