Kisakye on target as Booma edges visiting Blacks Power | 2024-2025 FUFA Big League

FUFA Big League 2024-2025 (Match Day Two):

Saturday, 12th October 2024 Results

Booma Football Club 1-0 Blacks Power

Buhimba United Saints 2-0 Onduparaka

Booma Football Club edged Blacks Power 1-0 on match day two of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League at the Masindi stadium on Saturday, 12th October 2024.

Skipper John Wesley Kisakye scored the all-important goal in the 15th minute.

This was Booma’s first game of the season having rested on the opening weekend.

Blacks Power suffered their first loss. On match day one, Blacks Power had won 1-0 at home over visiting Arua Hill.

Meanwhile, Buhimba United Saints football club recorded their first victory of the season winning 2-0 over Onduparaka at the Kigaaya primary school playground in Hoima city.

Second half substitute Lucas “Mane” Mola scored a brace.

In two matches, Onduparaka is yet to get a win after their opening home match ended in a goal-less draw with Paidha Black Angels in the explosive West Nile derby.

Other match day two matches:

Match day two continues on Sunday, 13th October 2024 with four matches in Entebbe, Jinja, Mityana and Bukedea districts.

In Entebbe Municipality, Gaddafi, under new management of Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) will take on Kigezi Home Boyz at the refurbished Entebbe Works playground.

Gaddafi played to a 1-all draw with Kaaro Karungi in Ntungamo last weekend whilst Kigezi Home Boyz humbled visiting Ntugasaze 2-0 in Kabale courtesy of Joseph Sseremba’s brace.

usoga United will entertain Kaaro Karungi at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe in Jinja city.

A wounded Ntugasaze outfit will play-host to Kiyinda Boys at the Ssaza ground, Mityana.

Kiyinda Boys beat MYDA on match day one 2-1 at the Barthelem playground, Gayaza.

In Bukedea, MYDA squares up against Calvary at the Kongunga primary school, Bukedea.

At the end of the season in May 2025, three clubs shall be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
