Kitara will hope to extend their newly rediscovered home form when they host champions SC Villa at Butema.

The Royals, following a false home start have now gone three matches on the streak with sounding victories beating UPDF (4-0), Mbale Heroes (6-0) and Express FC (7-0).

They are also unbeaten in the past six matches winning four and drawing goalless away to Vipers and Wakiso Giants.

Kitara have had just one day off with Wasswa Bbosa not happy with the scheduling.

“I think it is not ideal for a player to play two matches in 48 hours and the organizers ought to have done better with scheduling,” said Bbosa.

Kitara are two points behind SC Villa who ended a four-match winless run with a slim 1-0 win over URA on Saturday.

Charles Lwanga returns to the team after missing the URA defeat and will alongside Patrick Kakande and Hakim Kiwanuka look for goals for the visitors.

For the hosts, Jude Ssemugabi, returning Denis Omedi, Fred Amaku and George Ssenkaaba will lead the hunt for goals.

In the other matches on the day, NEC visit Mbale Heroes at Mbale Municipal stadium, Wakiso Giants are away to BUL at Lugazi, Mbarara City host KCCA while Police and URA face off at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.
