Kitara vs BUL – Butema 4pm
Vipers vs Police – Kitende 7pm
Brian Ssenyondo and his Kitara squad are gearing up for another critical premier league clash as they welcome BUL to Butema on Friday.
It’s been a turbulent season so far for the Royals so far, with inconsistent performances casting doubt over the future of the youthful tactician who guided the team to Uganda Cup trophy last season. A draw with Mbarara City offered some respite, but a tough test against BUL awaits.

Losing at home would further amplify the scrutiny on whether Ssenyondo is the right man to handle the star-studded assembled side, as his side has yet to fully convince this season.
“It is another tough game against a side that we haven’t beaten so far but we need to start winning games especially at home,” said Ssenyondo. “Against Mbarara City, we fought and got a point at a difficult ground and we hope to build on that,” he added.

Meanwhile, BUL, known for their resilient and dynamic style, will arrive at Butema full of confidence after getting their first win of the season away to URA in their last outing.
“We are facing a side in a similar situation like URA which we beat in the last outing,” said Abbey Kikomeko.
