Kiyinda Boys Football Club confirms Serwanja as head coach, new backroom staff

FUFA Big League entity Kiyinda Boys Football Club officially confirmed the appointment of Isa Serwanja as their head coach.

Serwanja has been working with the club for the past fortnight since the resignation of George “Best” Nsimbe.

“Kiyinda Boys Football Club is delighted to announce Issa Serwanja’s appointment as the club’s head coach. He will join until June 2026 with a club option of an additional year.” The club revealed in a statement to the media.

“He brings a wealth of experience and we hope to achieve great things together” the club added.

Serwanja is a CAF “B” certified coach who has been working with Brian Ssenyondo at Kitara Football Club.

At Kiyinda Boys Football Club, Serwanja will work with Paul Kasule as assistant coach and Shalif Kizza Ssengooba as the goalkeeping coach.

Ayub Kizza is retained as the fitness coach.

Kiyinda Boys is tussling out Kataka Football Club on Sunday, 24th November 2024 during match day eight.

This season, Kiyinda Boys has managed two victories, three draws and two losses from the seven games played thus far, as they sit 8th on the 15 team log standings with 9 points.
