KSI will finally settle his heated rivalry with former Bellator star Dillon Danis in a crossover boxing match later this month.

The pair had been due to fight in January 2023 following a feud that broke out a year earlier but Danis pulled out a week before the event.

KSI was due to hand Conor McGregor‘s former sparring partner his boxing debut but was forced to pivot to a clash with FaZe Temperrr.

The Brit knocked out his fellow YouTuber inside one round, which proved to be his last in-ring victory 21 months ago.

KSI’s KO win over Joe Fournier was later ruled a No Contest while he suffered his first professional defeat to Tommy Fury that October.

He hasn’t laced up the gloves since then, with rumoured bouts with Jake Paul, Wayne Rooney, and McGregor failing to come to fruition.

KSI eventually lined up a showdown against Wayne Bridge – only for the ex-Chelsea and England international to withdraw after controversial comments made by ‘The Nightmare’ in the build-up.

That opened the door for Danis to step in, whose only boxing experience was a losing effort to KSI’s business partner Logan Paul.

KSI vs Danis: How to follow

This cruiserweight clash is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 29.

Start times are yet to be confirmed, but the undercard action is expected to start from 7pm, with main event ringwalks around 11pm.

The fight is expected to be broadcast live on DAZN and on DAZN PPV, with previous KSI events being priced at £19.99 in the UK.

Why did Wayne Bridge withdraw?

Former Chelsea and England left-back Bridge had been confirmed to face YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI in the original March fight date.

The pair came face-to-face in the ring on the Misfits card, headlined by Darren Till, to build hype for their fight.

However, tensions boiled over as the pair clashed, with KSI referencing Chelsea legend John Terry‘s high-profile affair with Bridge’s ex-wife Vanessa Perroncel.

Just 48 hours after the announcement feud unfolded, Bridge has announced he will no longer take on ‘The Nightmare’.

He wrote in a lengthy statement: “I’m sure a lot of you have seen what happened on Saturday night at the Misfits Boxing event. Firstly, I think it’s important that I explain my reason for accepting the fight.

“I always like to challenge myself. This felt like a good opportunity to go up against an interesting opponent on a big stage. I have always loved boxing as part of my everyday training routine.

“I was fully prepared to train hard and have some fun. Of course, I expected to face some criticism, but I feel like what was said on Saturday crossed a line.

“These are deeply personal comments that affect mine and other families involved in the situation. I’m a family man first and my priority is protecting them.

“My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids. I hope one day he will look back on this differently. I personally don’t want to be involved in these exchanges.

“I will no longer be fighting on March 29. I’m still looking out for my next big challenge and have some exciting things coming up in 2025. Thanks for all the love.

“The support has been overwhelming. I want my friends and family to know how special they are. Deep down I know this is the right thing to do.”

KSI vs Danis: What has been said?

KSI has revealed the opportunity to face the former teammate of MMA icon McGregor was an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Following the announcement, KSI wrote on X: “When I found out I had the opportunity to fight him, I had to take it up.

“I finally get my payback for what he did to me at Misfits 3. That double-guard BS won’t work with me p***y. See you soon.”

The fight is being promoted as ‘Unfinished Business’, and fans heard the thoughts of both fighters in a trailer shared by Misfits.

“I’m standing in the middle of the ring and I’m fighting him: just go crazy,” KSI said.

While Danis added: “My heart is just different, I don’t think he’s a real fighter and has the mind of a real fighter.”
