Kyle Walker has asked to leave Man City as early as this January transfer window with interest to move abroad.
Pep Guardiola revealed captain Walker has asked to leave to explore options abroad which has seen AC Milan appear as clear contenders.

Guardiola revealed to talkSPORT Walker ‘wants to finish career in another place’.
Adding that: “He asked two years ago and I tried to convince him to commit to stay and he signed a contract and he was really important and won the Premier League last season as a captain.
“Now he’s saying that he would like to go to another country in this transfer window.
“He’s a player who when he’s fit and he’s focused with the attitude as a player he can play one, two, three more years.”
However, talkSPORT understands that a move to a Saudi club is off the table for Walker with his preference on a move to Europe.
AC Milan are understood to be leading the talks with Walker also keen on a move to the Serie A side.
Milan are offering a 2.5-year-deal for the England defender.
The Italian outfit are also favourites to sign Marcus Rashford, another England international playing in Manchester.
They could join fellow England teammate Fikayo Tomori who has been enjoying his time at AC Milan since moving from Chelsea in the 2020/21 season.
