Tom Brady played with many great receivers over his 23 seasons in the NFL.
Randy Moss was the best of all.

The Hall of Fame wideout played for Brady’s New England Patriots between 2007 and 2010.
He caught 39 touchdowns from the GOAT, including an all-time record of 23 in the 2007 season.
The pair have enjoyed a strong bond ever since and, when Brady ran out for his eighth Super Bowl in 2018, Moss — by then retired for six years — was waiting for him just outside the tunnel.
He yelled to his old friend, who ran over to him for a handshake and yelled his catchphrase ‘let’s go’ before charging onto his field.
Like Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, Brady was up against the underdog Philadelphia Eagles and, predictably, put on a show on the biggest stage.
He threw for more than 500 yards, three scores and no picks but somehow ended up on the losing team. No quarterback in history has ever hit those heights in any game, let alone the game, and gone home a loser.
It was the Eagles’ first-ever Vince Lombardi Trophy, secured with a spectacular 41-33 victory in Minneapolis.
Nick Foles — in for the injured Carson Wentz — denied the Patriots a record-equalling sixth Super Bowl crown.
The MVP made his own history thanks to the now famous ‘Philly Special’ play.
When he got on the end of a pass from tight end Trey Burton, Foles became the first player ever to throw and catch a touchdown in a Super Bowl.

Brady’s 505 passing yards remains a Super Bowl record — he is also second on the list with 466 yards the year previous.
The teams combined for 1,151 yards in total — a record for any NFL game — and the Patriots are the only outfit to put up 600 on offense and lose.
Back to 2025, and the Eagles were at it again, this time dismantling Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs dynasty.
ESPN analyst Moss stepped away from his role with the network two months ago after undergoing cancer surgery.
He made his comeback to TV for this year’s Super Bowl and was left in tears as messages of support from the likes of Brady were played to him.
“Welcome back Randy, I’m sure all the guys from the set have missed you, and we’ve all missed you as well,” Brady said. “You’ve been a fixture on that show for a long time, and you were a fixture on the field too.

“As great as you were on the field, showing everyone the strength and resilience of how you performed in your Hall of Fame career, you’ve impressed and inspired us with what you’ve done off the field.”
Other NFL stars and legends, including Malik Nabers, Justin Jefferson, Micah Parsons and Jerry Rice, welcomed Moss back to work in the moving video.
“I’m going to be a big cry baby here,” he said, wiping tears from his eyes.
“I couldn’t do it alone. It’s been hard, but I got a lot of love and a lot of people believing in me, man, so I’m happy to be here. God bless you all.”
Moss said it was his goal to be at this year’s Super Bowl after announcing last December that he was a cancer survivor, having had a cancerous mass removed from his bile duct, between his liver and pancreas.
“Your boy is a cancer survivor,” Moss said at the time, before thanking his family, doctors and supporters. “Some trying times, of course, but we made it through. And, for that, I thank you all.”
