Livvy Dunne’s social media fame has catapulted her into the spotlight.

But alongside the endorsements and legions of fans, her popularity has also attracted plenty of negative attention.

Dunne revealed her former approach to dealing with trolls

The 21-year-old gymnast discussed trolls with fellow LSU athlete Flau’jae Johnson – and the conversation turned to the strangest requests she ever received.

“You know what I had for a really long time in my comment section?” Dunne said on the ‘Best of Both Worlds‘ podcast.

“People asking for my bathwater.

“It was like, ‘What has my life come to? These people begging for bath water.’

“It’s kind of settled down at this point, but that was a crazy one that I’ll never forget.”

Dunne revealed that she used to engage the trolls.

“I kind of spun it off into a joke like, I would reply and say some out-of-pocket stuff back which maybe I shouldn’t have. But it was funny at the time,” she explained.

Dunne is believed to have the second-most valuable NIL endorsements in college sports this season.

Only Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders can surpass her $4million earnings.

She is estimated to have racked up $9.5million during her time with the Tigers, and recently appeared on Amazon docuseries ‘The Money Game’ to discuss the life-changing sums.

But not everybody is appreciative of the work she does in the gym and providing content to her 11.5million followers.

“One of the things that really annoys me the most is, especially on the money game docuseries posts on my feed and on my TikTok, people being like, ‘She doesn’t deserve anything she has and that gymnastics isn’t a real sport and stuff like that,” Dunne added.

Dunne has been forced into taking online-online classes at LSU over fears for her safety.

“I do like coming over here,” she explained on The Money Game.

“One time I was at class, and I never really checked my messages, but this day on Instagram I checked my DMs.

“And I remember seeing a DM that said, ‘You’re not going to make it back to your dorm tonight.’

“I think LSU’s done a really good job with helping their athletes and especially me and my circumstances.

“We have a security guard now and he’s the best. His name is Brian. Shoutout Brian.”
