Luke Humphries continued his streak of unseen perfect legs in Leicester on Wednesday.

The world no.1 became the third player to hit a nine-darter on the PDC ProTour this week.

Alan Soutar added a fourth in two days, although none were televised[/caption]

Following on from Gary Anderson and Luke Littler on Tuesday, Humphries wasted no time joining them at Players Championship 6.

‘Cool Hand’ pulled off a nine in his first round clash with Andy Boulton at the Mattioli Arena.

However, only himself, Boulton and the referee witnessed it as it was not televised live.

Floor events on the ProTour only have selected matches streamed live on PDC.tv.

Unfortunately for darts fans, Humphries’ 6-3 victory over Boulton was not streamed live.

The same occurred less than an hour later as Alan Soutar made it four untelevised nine-darters in two days against Littler.

Despite his perfect leg, though, the Scot was beaten 6-5 by the world champion.

Fans were quick to share their frustrations at missing out on a pair of perfect legs.

Reacting on social media, one wrote: “And not seen by anyone.”

Meanwhile, another added: “That’s four nine-darters in the last two days and still no images.”

Littler also achieved the feat on Tuesday along with Anderson[/caption]

Humphries followed his win over Boulton by seeing off Jitse van der Wal in his next match to reach the last 32.

He had made the same stage on Tuesday before losing to eventual winner Joe Cullen.

Wednesday’s meeting with Luke Woodhouse would end in victory for Humphries, though, seeing off his opponent 6-5.

Humphries then got the better of Damon Heta in the quarter-finals before beating Ross Smith in the semis.

The back-to-back Players Championship Finals winner is yet to triumph at a ProTour event in 2025.

However, he has now hit multiple nine-darters in less than a week following last week’s Premier League action in Brighton.

Humphries achieved his first televised perfect leg against Rob Cross on night five, only to go on to lose the match.

Voltage then repeated the feat in his semi-final defeat to Nathan Aspinall later in the night.
