Charlie Manby produced a three-dart average of 130.70 at event four of this year’s tour in Milton Keynes on Saturday.

The 19-year-old secured a 4-0 whitewash victory on his way to reaching the last 16, where he was beaten by Cam Crabtree.

His achievement saw Manby’s worst leg of the four consist of just 13 darts.

Meanwhile, he has smashed the previous best of 120.24, which had been shared by three players.

Bradley Brooks, Gert Nentjes and Owen Bates are the only other stars to average over 120 in a Development Tour match.

As for Littler, his best on the tour was 115.22 in 2023, the seventh highest of all-time.

The Nuke also has the 10th highest average in the tour’s history with 113.43.

He has also previously faced Manby on the oche, with the pair meeting in the final of the 2023 Isle of Man Classic Youth.

Littler came out on top as he claimed a 5-1 victory before his rise to stardom.

Manby went on to reach the last 16 of event four in Milton Keynes, where he lost to Cam Crabtree.

It came after he had made the final of event three earlier in the day, only to lose 5-2 to Bates.

The first five events of the season were held at the Arena MK across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with Beau Greaves claiming victory in two of them.

Meanwhile, Littler has been in action in the Premier League in recent weeks following his PDC World Darts Championship triumph in January.

The 18-year-old sits fourth in the standings after the first three nights, which included a win in Glasgow.

However, he suffered a disappointing quarter-final loss to Gerwyn Price in Dublin last week.

Littler will be looking to bounce back in Exeter on Thursday, where he faces Stephen Bunting in the opening round.

Night four will be followed by the UK Open in Minehead, with Littler entering in the fourth round as the second seed.

Manby is also in the draw after qualifying as one of the top eight players on the Development Tour.

He will have to overcome Aden Kirk in the first round if he is to have a chance of a rematch with Littler later in the tournament.

The winner of the tie will take on Haupai Puha in the second round at Butlins.
