Luke Littler received a ‘crazy’ congratulatory message after winning the PDC World Darts Championship.
The teenager saw off three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen in the final at Alexandra Palace on Friday night.

Littler secured a 7-3 victory to become the youngest world champion in darts history.
He has since received a host of well wishes on social media as well as personal messages from several famous faces.
Amongst them is former England captain David Beckham, the Nuke has revealed.
Littler told Sky Sports: “He said ‘Wow, well done’. I said ‘Thank you’.
“Goes to show how well I’ve done for the sport. Not only for myself but the other hundreds of professionals out there. But to see the likes of David Beckham watching, it feels crazy.”
The 17-year-old is a life-long Manchester United fan and hopes to parade the Sid Waddell trophy at Old Trafford.
He revealed his intentions after seeing off Van Gerwen at Ally Pally last night.
Littler said after the final: “If they allow me to then I’m sure I’ll go to Old Trafford.
“Yeah [it’s an honour] I’m glad I beat Stephen [Bunting] yesterday as I’m pretty sure he was going to take it to Anfield on the weekend.”
Meanwhile, Beckham made 392 appearances for United during his playing career and won 14 trophies including six league titles.

As well as his message from Beckham, Littler also took time out with Wayne Rooney’s family after the final.
The former United striker’s wife Coleen and their kids were watching on at Ally Pally.
Littler signed autographs and posed for photos with one of Rooney’s sons, with the ex-England star sharing a message to Instagram.
He wrote: “What a night for the lads. Congratulations @lukethenukelittler. Unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, Coleen wrote in a separate post alongside a snap of the family celebrating: “Congratulations @lukethenukelittler.
“That’s me screaming getting beer all over me,” with a laughing emoji alongside her caption.

Littler’s win on Friday also secured £500,000 in prize money to see him move up to second in the PDC Order of Merit.
After just a year on the professional circuit, he has scooped £1,118,500 from ranking events.
Only last year’s world champion Luke Humphries has more on the two-year Order of Merit.
Littler’s world title triumph followed seven other ranking wins in his maiden year on tour, including another major win at the Grand Slam of Darts.
