Former Vipers skillful attacking midfielder William Luwagga Kizito has been included in Wakiso Giants squad for the ongoing campaign.
Kizito who has played in Europe since leaving the Venoms (then Bunamwaya) in 2012 has been training with the Purple Sharks through the pre-season.
It was reported that he injured his arm in a scuffle with thugs and that delayed his availability for the opening matches.
However, when releasing the club squad for the campaign, Luwagga appeared and was accorded his preferred shirt number 10.
It remains to be seen whether the player who was crucial in Uganda Cranes qualification campaign for the 2017 qualifiers that saw the nation end over four decades absence at Afcon finals will feature before the second round.
Besides Vipers, Luwagga has played for among others Leixoes, Rio Ave and Covilha in Portugal, Shaktar Karagandy and most recently Hapoel Rishon LeZion in Israel.
He has made 47 appearances for Uganda Cranes and scored in the 2-0 away to Botswana during the Afcon 2017 qualifiers.
Wakiso Giants under the tutorship of ex-Luwagga teammates Steven Bengo and Tony Mawejje have started the campaign with a win and draw against Bright Stars and Maroons and host new entrants Mbale Heroes on Friday.
