Magomu Youth win 2025 Kyadondo Rugby U-17 Boys Tournament

The Ivan Magomu Youth Programme has been crowned champions of the 2025 Kyadondo Rugby Club age-grade U-17 boys tournament.

Magomu Youth beat Rams Academy, 31-03, in the final played on Wednesday afternoon at Kyadondo Rugby Club. Rams were simply outclassed by Magomu Youth led by eventual Most Valuable Player of the final Allan Titus Nyonyintono.

Final Standings in U-17 Boys Tournament:

  1. CHAMPIONS: Ivan Magomu Youth Programme
  2. First Runners-up (Silver medal): Rams Academy
  3. Second Runners-up (Bronze medal): Kyadondo Academy
  4. Namilyango Tyrants
  5. NOVA Rugby
  6. Black Onyx

Hosts Kyadondo Academy beat Namilyango Tyrants by 31-10 in the bronze medal match. In the early kickoff exhibition match, Black Onyx recorded their first victory against St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) U-15 by 32-21 points.
