CM Punk is finally going to main event WrestleMania.
The WWE fan favorite is set to face Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match, which will close out night one of next month’s event in Las Vegas.

Main-eventing a WrestleMania has been one of Punk’s lifelong dreams, and failing to do so in his first stint with the company was one of the reasons behind his infamous walkout over a decade ago.
WWE confirmed that the bout will be at the top of the bill in an emotionally charged SmackDown segment on Friday night.
An official contract signing took place in London, England, with all three men in the ring.
Reigns entered first, and he was soon followed by Rollins and Punk.
While the two former Shield members put pen to paper on the contract swiftly, the ‘Second City Saint’ took his time going through the clauses.
“I know what you’re looking for, and it’s in there. You’re closing the show at WrestleMania,” he was told by Paul Heyman, much to the delight of the crowd.
Punk himself teared up at the news, and while he will get to fulfil his dream in April, it appears to have come at the expense of the Royal Rumble winner.
Jey Uso won the men’s match back in February, and traditionally, the winner of that has gone on to feature in the main event at ‘Mania.
The Raw star has long been slated to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, but it seems this match will be further down the card.
Reigns, Rollins and Punk have been confirmed as the main event for night one, and it is almost certain that John Cena vs Cody Rhodes will be closing night two.

Triple H, in fact, all but confirmed it earlier this week, calling that clash ‘one of the biggest main events in history’ in a social media post.
If that is indeed the case, then ‘Main Event Jey Uso’ will, in fact, not be getting his WrestleMania main event.
WWE’s decision to put the triple threat at the top of the card on night one has also left plenty of fans confused, especially since a tweet on the night of the Royal Rumble referred to the winner as ‘MAIN EVENT (of WrestleMania 41) JEY USO!’
“Amazing how the Rumble just straight up does not matter anymore,” one person wrote on X, after the night one main event was confirmed.
“Main Event Jey Uso… not in the main event. What did they mean by this?” another asked, quoting WWE’s post from last month.
“Fun fact, during the Royal Rumble it was mentioned over 20 times that the winner of each would main event WrestleMania, just for that to NOT be true at all,” a third claimed, adding that Charlotte Flair is also due a headline match.

A fourth pleaded: “They really need to sort this whole ‘winner of Royal Rumble will go on to main event WrestleMania’ thing. Either drop it or stick to it, because all I remember after the Rumble was Jey saying he was main-eventing ‘Mania about 30 times and now it just makes him look stupid.”
Others also joked that WWE were ‘spreading misinformation and lies’ by suggesting the Rumble winner would headline WrestleMania 41.
The card, of course, is not set in stone just yet and there is time for things to be shifted around.
But given how hot Cena’s feud with Rhodes has been, and the fact they will battle for the Undisputed WWE Championship, it’s hard to imagine any other match will close out night two.
