Edgar “Sharp” Bwogi has signed one-year deal with Eastern Regional entity Mbale Garage Football Club.

Bwogi is a CAF “C” licensed tactician who also recently completed the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO) level two.

The former Makerere University and Express Football Club depender replaces replaces Nasibu “Magic man” Ndita.

Ndita guided Mbale Garage to the top of the Bukedi Group last season but missed out on promotion to the FUFA Big League after losing 3-2 to Busei FC in the playoff.

His (Ndita’s) employment contract had expired and was not renewed, with the club expressing their appreciation for his service:

“We extend our gratitude to Coach Ndita for his dedication and contributions to the club,” Mbale Garage club statement read in part.

Bwogi was previously part of Mbale Garage’ s coaching staff during the 2023-2024 pre-season, participating in the Mbale Super 8 tournament before Ndita’s appointment.

He also worked with Mbale Heroes FC last season in the FUFA Big League.

After missing out on FUFA Big League promotion, Mbale Garage is reorganizing their house in order for another promotion bid.

One of the strategies has witnessed them form an alliance with Uganda Premier League side Mbale Heroes Football Club, allowing five of Mbale Heroes players to join Mbale Garage on a double license arrangement.
