Mbale Heroes and Soltilo Bright Stars take on each other in an early relegation six pointer in a bottom of the table clash at Municipal stadium, Mbale on Thursday.
The two sides are separated by a single point with the hosts at the bottom with five while the visitors are in 15th with six points after nine matches.
Ian Mutenda, the Bright Stars interim coach expects a tough encounter against a side coached by his former coach Asaph Mwebaze.
“We face a team with a coach that knows us inside out but the game is not about individuals but the team,” said Mutenda. “It will be a tough game like all matches but we are here to try and win the match against a side that will be buoyed by the home support,” he added.
Mwebaze is still looking for his first win since taking charge as the five matches so far managed have produced two victories and three defeats.
Bright Stars will climb out of the relegation zone if they win while the Surgeons will move within a point of safety with maximum points.
