Bruce Carrington had the privilege of watching Mike Tyson spar recently and was left in awe of the boxing legend.
‘Iron Mike’ is gearing up to face Jake Paul on November 15 in Arlington, Texas – and is leaving no stone unturned in the gym.

Tyson, now 58, is preparing for his upcoming fight with plenty of hard sparring and was recently filmed smashing his sparring partner through the ropes with a vicious left hook.
His coach, Rafael Cordeiro, could be heard shouting, ‘Nice left hook!’ as the shot sunk his sparring partner onto the bottom rope.
“We’re done, the job is over,” said Cordeiro in a behind-the-scenes video uploaded to Most Valuable Promotions YouTube channel.
“You won all those rounds, all rounds.”
The camera then cut to highly-rated undefeated American featherweight Carrington, who had been watching the entire sparring session from ringside.
“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything coming in today but you have exceeded whatever bro,” he said. “You look really good, strong.”
This is extremely high praise coming from a young fighter at the top of his game.
Carrington currently boasts an unblemished 13-0 record and was named the 2023 Prospect of the Year by Ring Magazine.
He is set to return to action on the Paul vs Tyson undercard next week against Dana Coolwell (13-2) of Australia.
The video of the sparring and the subsequent feedback will build confidence in Tyson’s fans.

Earlier in camp he had admitted he was struggling to walk after a six-round sparring session but he appeared to conserve his energy well in the recent footage.
Speaking to USA Today in September, he said: “It’s hard to walk right now.
“But two months from now I’m going to be perfect. The fight is won in the gym.
“Listen, I’ll do anything that will help me.
“I’m going to enjoy my time here tonight with all my childhood friends, and the hell with Jake Paul.”
This wasn’t the first time Tyson had admitted his body was sore after training.
Before the rescheduling of their July 20 date, Tyson confessed his sciatica had been flaring up.
Meanwhile, it was an ulcer problem that led to their bout being pushed back four months.
Tyson revealed that the gastro issue was due to him eating ‘unhealthy food’ which he has since cut out.
