Jake Paul has left fans utterly confused after he slapped a cardboard cut-out of Gervonta Davis in a peculiar call-out.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer was ringside for Davis’ most recent outing against Lamont Roach, a fight which ended in a controversial draw.

Davis surprisingly suggested that he had planned to call out Paul if he had won, opening the door to a seemingly impossible commercial mega-fight.
‘El Gallo’ surprisingly offered words of encouragement to the defending champion after he was held from victory for the first time in his career.
But days after the fight took place, Paul has now released a video appearing to troll Davis.
He first began slapping a cardboard cut-out of the boxing superstar repeatedly in the face until it fell over.
Paul was placed on an airport runway, clearly preparing to get in his new $40million private jet he purchased after beating Mike Tyson.
It came with the caption: “He’s lucky it wasn’t me in there.”
The plot thickened as he later posted two pictures of himself lying down with the cut-out, even blowing a kiss at Davis.
Fans were utterly confused, with one reacting: “I’m so baffled. Must have missed the joke there.
Another agreed: “I don’t get it, this is really cringe.”
One even added: “This isn’t funny mate, please just stop.”

Others were convinced it was a fight call-out with a fan adding: “This guy is a clown and marketing genius all in one.
“I don’t like him at all but he’s really good at playing the heel.
“People want to see him knocked out but he chooses people he can either beat or pays them to throw the fight.”
A viewer added: “Gervonta Davis is definitely beating Jake Paul after seeing that last fight! It could happen.”
While a final user concluded: “Bro he’s tiny! As always, fight a boxer your age and size.”
Paul and Davis seems like an impossible fight to make given their vast weight disparity.

The influencer-turned-fighter weighed in at heavyweight for his most recent fight with Tyson.
While Davis stepped on the scales just shy of the 135lb limit, seeing him almost 65lbs apart from Paul.
And as a result, the YouTuber believes he would beat Davis given his size advantages.
He tweeted: “Gervonta has my respect. Inside the ring, he comes to fight.
“One of the top five in the world right now. Outside the ring, he is standing on his own & representing America.
“I f** with it. I would destroy him in the ring given the size. But I f*** with what he represents.”
