Saracen Beau

Cloonainra looks easy to back based on her placed efforts behind some good horses like Dedicated hero and Tripoli Flyer.

The former was in a Grade 2 and could still be well-weighted though, that said, this mare has failed to win since winner her maiden contest in August 2024.

But there’s much more value with Saracen Beau who was surprisingly off of it on his third start and only second over hurdles in a Grade 2 at Haydock back in November.

Subsequently changed yards to Lucinda Russell and with this break makes an encouraging return in a winnable race with a 7lb in-form claimer on board. Interesting back onto good ground.

San Juanito

Comes into this on an appealing mark after winning here just 16 days ago.

Upped 4lb from that and seems to be waiting to strike over further having placed well behind the likes of Dividend and Invited at Southwell. Progress likely from a yard getting going for a busy summer.

Great Blasket

Can go well off of a break and is even back down to his previous winning mark.

All the more encouraging with 3lb claimer Alec Voikhansky on board and makes plenty of appeal after a busy campaign last season that saw him continually rise in the weights until potentially being caught out from being too busy.
