Express FC vs Wakiso Giants – Wakiso 4pm

BUL vs Bright Stars – Najjembe 4pm

KCCA vs Maroons – Lugogo 7pm

KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru is wary of threat posed by Maroons who they host on Thursday at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

The gaffer however has refused to be derailed by the past insisting that what matters is the present and his charges will be looking to get maximum points to continue with their decent start to the 2024/25 season.

“They will be motivated to prove a point,” he said of Maroons. “They are a side that has given us hard time but we are not looking at the past now,” he added.

KCCA, for the second successive match will be without striker Derrick Nsibambi who joins Peter Magambo, Emmanuel Amanya and Julius Poloto on the list of absentees but Sadat Anaku is available to make his second debut at the club.

Usama Arafat made a cameo appearance against Mbale Heroes after some long time out through injury and it remains to be seen if he will be considered from the start.

Meanwhile, Maroons who held champions SC Villa in their last outing could be without Jackson Nunda who was stretchered off after scoring in the game but in Ivan Mayanja, Abel Eturude, Ronald Orombi, Simon Tamale and ex-KCCA right back Denis Rukundo among others, they have quality to upset the Kasasiro.
