
10th Oldies League:
- Final: Mutundwe Diplomats 2-0 NSASPA Nsangi
- Third-place: Kiteezi Old Stars beat Kiwanga Legends
The Mutundwe Diplomats won the 10th edition of the Oldies League after overcoming NSASPA Nsangi 2-0 in a thrilling finale played at the Maroons stadium, Luzira.
The victors who were captained by Geofrey Ssozi won a trophy, gold medals and Ug.Shs 1,000,000 cash prize.


“It was purely down to teamwork and determination from every member on the team. I am happy that the players believed and worked according to the instructions” Ssozi told the media.
In the third place play-off, Kiteezi Old Stars won over Kiwanga Legends to finish with bronze.
Mutundwe Diplomats had defeated Kiteezi Old Stars 2-0 whilst NSASPA Nsangi edged Kiwanga Legends 3-2 in nail-biting fashion during the semi-finals.




A total of 27 clubs from Kampala and Metropolitan as well as far as Jinja taking part in the grueling 2024-2025 season.
The Oldies League was established in 2014 with six (6) clubs who wanted to keep healthy and creating networks amongst themselves in their later years after having played active soccer.
It’s a registered entity entrusted by FUFA to run the National Oldies Soccer activities. The pioneer Clubs were Luzira Ex-Players FC, Butabika Oldies FC, Mutungo Ex Internationals FC, Mbuya Oldies FC, Bugolobi EX FC, and Kisugu Ex FC.
The pioneer champion was Kisugu Ex FC with Luzira Ex-Players FC coming second.





The League has a well-organized governance and management structure of highly competent and experienced persons running the various activities because of the passion that they have.
Due to the League, there has been various offshoots platforms being established like the Kampala North Oldies League, Kampala East Oldies League, Jinja Oldies League, Oldies Soccer SACCO, Abakamanyi FC, etc. these have helped to support the oldies in their social and professional lives with the opportunities presented by the existence of the League.
The 2025-2026 season will kick off in July 2025.
The Oldies League is about promoting healthy living, having fun and creating a platform to associate with one another. We intend to spread this league to the rest of the country across all the FUFA regions.

We had a successful 2024-2025 season of the Oldies League. We encourage more teams to join us. This is about having fun, maintaining fitness levels, meeting old and new friends (networking) which is a key social capital.
