Lugazi vs NEC – Najjembe 4pm

Police vs Mbale Heroes – Kavumba 4pm

Mbale Heroes make a long trip to Kavumba to face wounded Police FC as Asaph Mwebaze hunts for his first win in charge of Surgeons in the Premier League.

The Surgeons have picked one point on the road, a draw against fellow newcomers Lugazi and will hope they replicate that against the 2005 champions who they held at Kavumba last season in the Fufa Big League despite losing 4-0 to them in Mbale.

Coming off a slim 1-0 loss to KCCA, Mbale Heroes will want to build on the second half performance in that game.

For Police who were unbeaten until the last round before losing to Vipers, they will be wounded and Simon Peter Mugerwa has already called for a reaction.

“We didn’t make a lot of mistakes in the defeat to Vipers but were a little unlucky,” he said. “For now, the target is to return to winning ways and we are confident,” he added.

Police will move into the top four with maximum points while Mbale Heroes will climb from relegation zone to safety position if they garner three points at Kavumba.
