This season could barely have started more poorly for Hearts. Regular readers of this column will know my thoughts on how recruitment is the most important part of any football club. The ‘project’ signings of Andres Salazar and Gerald Taylor have also had mixed results and the jury is still out on whether either of those will make a significant impact at the club.
