The pressure was already on to start winning games last month, as the smallest of margins can help win the league.

Zidane could be a huge coup as the World Cup winner hasn’t been manager of a club since 2021, when he had his second stint with Real Madrid for a total of four seasons with the La Liga side.
Former Man City captain, Premier League winner and previous Burnley manager, Kompany would be an interesting move as he did well with the Clarets but struggled in the top flight playing a system that didn’t quite suit the players at his disposal.
But it would be interesting to see what he’s capable of with a team of Man City’s standard, albeit he is out at 12/1 to be the next boss.
