The pressure continues to rise on Ange Postecoglou as they were knocked out of both the EFL Cup and FA Cup all while their Premier League campaign continues to suffer.
As a result the attention turns to his potential successors with a mix of managers in contention including former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The north London club have now fallen to 14th in the Premier League table as we approach the beginning of the end of the season, with the side closer to the relegation zone by points than they are to the top half of the table.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has earned major praise and plaudits having taken over as the Cherries manager at the beginning of last season.
The south coast outfit now sit just a handful of points away from a surprise top four finish.
The 42-year-old Spaniard is touted as the favourite to be named the next man in the hotseat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the current boss’ days looking numbered.
However, the Cherries boss has gone from 11/8 to 4/1 after a couple of weeks with no changes at the helm and no real reason for a manager flying high in the league would take on the big challenge that Spurs face.
Brentford coach Thomas Frank has been hammered into joint-favourite with Iraola too, having been as high as 10/1 earlier this month with a potential move from west London to the north.
Tottenham next manager odds (talkSPORT BET)
- Andoni Iraola – 4/1
- Thomas Frank – 4/1
- Mauricio Pochettino – 5/1
- Marco Silva – 8/1

Pochettino’s odds have now come in again to 5/1 this time.
The current USA manager was in charge of the club for their most successful Premier League period last decade, achieving a trio of consecutive top three finishes.
The club also reached their first ever Champions League final under the Argentinian, who would likely be welcomed back with open arms by the Spurs faithful should he make a return to the white half of north London.
Edin Terzic, the man who led Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last season, has drifted in the odds over the last couple of weeks going from a 5/1 to a 10/1 punt.
After leaving Dortmund in the summer he may appeal to chairman Daniel Levy as the German won’t need to be bought out of his contract.
Current Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna is another young Premier League manager to have earned heaps of praise in recent months, most recently being touted for the Manchester United and Chelsea roles over the last 12 months.
McKenna achieved back to back promotions from League One to the Premier League and has only a point separating his side from safety in the league table at the time of writing.
The Northern Irishman is one of several big names being priced from 8/1 upwards for the Tottenham job, including current Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso.
At 12/1, former England manager Gareth Southgate is in contention for a return to football management after his departure from the national team boss following defeat in the Euro 2024 final.
