Julen Lopetegui is the odds on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job after his West Ham side were beaten 3-1 by a struggling Leicester on Tuesday night.
The defeat leaves the Hammers 14th in the Premier League, just six points above the relegation zone, and with only Wolves and Southampton having lost more league games this season than the east London club.
It’s thought now that it’s only a matter of time be the West Ham board relieve the former Spain and Real Madrid manager of his duties, less than a week on from their 5-2 thrashing at home by Arsenal.
The Hammers’ next game sees them come up against Wolves on Monday night, with their boss Gary O’Neil also under a pile of pressure for his job, making it a crucial game for both sides.
Graham Potter is the current 4/5 favourite to take over at the London Stadium following Lopetegui’s departure, the Englishman having been out of job since his sacking by Chelsea in April last year.
The former Brighton manager has been linked with several big jobs, most notably the England one, since leaving Chelsea in 2023, but remains without a club heading into this year’s festive period.

The man with the next shortest odds to take over in east London is former Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand at 7/2, who had been in charge of his national side for four years prior to his departure in the summer, notably leading his team to the semi finals of Euro 2020, before suffering and extra time defeat to England.
The 52-year-old is relatively inexperienced in managing clubs outside Denmark, his only previous job outside his home country being a short ill-fated spell at Mainz in Germany, lasting only the first 24 matches of the 2014-15 season before being sacked.
Another man linked with the London Stadium job is Edin Terzic, the 42-year-old free agent who led Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last season, is priced at 5/1 to take job.
The German has only ever managed in Dortmund, leading them to DFB Pokal triumph in his 2021 as an interim manager, but does have history with West Ham, having been assistant manager in east London under Slaven Bilic from 2015-17.
Another manager out of a job at the moment and linked with a move to West Ham is Sergio Conceicao at 76/1, who left Porto in the summer after seven years at the club, during which time he 11 trophies, including three league titles.
