NFL fans can look forward to three matches on Thanksgiving Thursday, starting with an NFC North clash between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
The Lions enter Week 13 on a run of nine straight wins, while the Bears have suffered five consecutive defeats.
Detroit’s place in the play-offs is practically guaranteed after another sublime campaign under head coach Dan Campbell, while the Bears need to return to winning ways in the coming weeks to revive their chances.

The Lions and Kansas City Chiefs are the only two teams in the NFL to boast 10-1 records, but the former will claim they are the best team in the league.
Detroit have not lost since Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they have won by an average of 19.3 PPG during their nine-game winning streak.
The Lions are outclassing their opponents on a consistent basis and they are the top-scoring offence in the NFL with 32.7 points scored per game on average.
Chicago have improved since they fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and replaced him with Thomas Brown, but they often struggle to get over the line.
The Bears have lost five games in a row and will do well to keep this scoreline respectable.
Caleb Williams Over 200.5 Passing Yards
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has improved since Brown’s hiring, throwing for at least 230 yards in two consecutive matches.
Williams’ ability to throw on the run and keep plays alive will make him dangerous for any defence, and while the Lions should prove too much on Thursday, the Bears playmaker should get to showcase his talent on the big stage.
Jahmyr Gibbs Over 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns
Detroit have utilised Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery’s talents on the ground to devastating effect this season, but the latter suffered a shoulder injury last week.
While Montgomery has said he will return for the clash with Chicago, Gibbs has still done enough this season to prove he can lead the Lions’ run game on his own.
Gibbs has 10 touchdowns to his name this season, and he has failed to score in only one of Detroit’s last six games.
Over 46.5 Total Points
The Lions’ score alone has nearly cleared the overs line in most of their recent games, with Campbell’s team scoring 47 points or more in three of their wins since Week 6.
Detroit are the highest scorers in the NFL, but we should see some signs of a response from Chicago, who have improved since they changed their offensive playcaller.
